How Corian changes the data in modern design

When designing or renovating a space and looking for a material that combines aesthetics, functionality and durability, the Corian® It is the ideal choice. From kitchens and bathrooms to hotels, health facilities and private homes, Corian has changed the way we create and experience our spaces.

What's behind Corian®?

Corian® is a solid, non-porous, and homogeneous composite developed by DuPont in the 1960s. About 1/3 acrylic resin and 2/3 natural minerals, mainly Alumina Trihydrate. This combination gives the material its durability and a homogeneous appearance, with the color and pattern running through its entire mass — not just the surface.

Why do designers love it?

Unlimited Format Possibilities

One of the biggest advantages of Corian® is that it can be shaped into almost anything you can imagine:

      • Thermoforming: With heating, the material bends and takes curves and organic forms — ideal for modern, creative design.
      • Invisible compounds: The joints are joined so seamlessly that the result looks like a single, lineless surface that "flows" into space.

This freedom allows the integration of Corian® in curved benches, lamps, furniture, and even entire bathroom cabins, creating continuous, harmonious surfaces without visual boundaries.

Durability that makes a difference

Corian® is not only beautiful — it is also practical:

      • Healthy and safe: Because it is not porosity, it does not absorb liquids or stains and prevents the growth of bacteria and mold. Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and places where hygiene is a priority.
      • Wear resistant: Despite its smooth surface, it withstands daily use, while minor injuries can often be corrected by simple treatment.
      • Easy to maintain: No special products are required — a simple cleaning with mild detergents is enough.

Aesthetics that speaks for itself

The aesthetics of Corian® are unique:

      • Single appearance: Without visible joints, even on large surfaces, it gives a sense of purity and simplicity.
      • Rich color palette: From white and pastels to bright colors and patterns that look like natural stone, there is an option for every style.
      • Combination with other materials: Corian® harmonizes perfectly with wood, metal or stone, creating interesting contrasts and balances.

Where can you apply it?

Today, Corian® has gone beyond the limits of classic kitchen counters:

  • Built-in sinks and sinks: The entire bench can be one-piece with built-in elements.
  • Wall coverings: It is used as a finish for clean, continuous surfaces.
  • Custom Furniture: From reception desks to unique pieces of furniture, its versatility makes it ideal for bespoke creations.

Why choose Corian®?

Corian® is not just a material for surfaces — it is a creation tool that opens new horizons in design. If you are looking for something that combines appearance, functionality and durability, while at the same time allowing you to express your aesthetics in your space, Corian® is an option that does not settle for anything less than perfect.
